Prior to an 11 a.m. rally at the Capitol, we will hold a brief Shabbat service.
If you can participate, please RSVP to rabbidoug@kolamikc.org. Let us know if you can be a driver to Jefferson City or if you need a ride. Also, everyone needs to RSVP in order to stay updated on our gathering place for our Shabbat service prior to the rally.

Fay and I were in New York over the weekend. We had a wonderful time being with family and friends, seeing great theater and art, and eating way too much. We saw an interesting exhibit at the Jewish Museum by Argentine artist Marta Minujin. She is known for her soft sculptures, performance art and happenings.
This Week's Torah Portion Parashat Ki Tissa (Shemot/Exodus 30:11-34:35)
For this week’s Torah portion, see the following link to a D’var Torah written for the Academy of Jewish Religion three years ago. Its message regarding what we perceive to be idol worship still rings true. Click here.
