While not really new at all to our Kol Ami family, Karen Engebretson has officially become our director of music. Kol Ami News
Mitzvah Mondays by Julia Patterson, Kol Ami's director of community engagement
One of my favorite hobbies is taking care of houseplants! I also love to propagate plants and share them with others. Particularly enjoyable has been the plant friendship I’ve made with a young neighbor, Ruby, who is always looking for new plants to adopt.
These variegated pothos plants are just one of the many plants I’ve propagated and given to her, which brings us both joy!
Please share your mitzvahs (and a picture) with me at engagement@kolamikc.org, and I’ll share them in a future newsletter!
First-Friday Oneg Shabbats A big thank-you to Jon Scheinman and Anita Grow, who hosted our April Oneg Shabbat. We invite other volunteers to bring simple vegetarian treats to share the first Friday-night service of the month. (Kol Ami provides challah and grape juice.) Please respond to worship@kolamikc.org to get on the Oneg calendar. — Kol Ami Worship Committee
