Many of us seem to be struggling right now to balance challenges on the one hand -- our fearfulness with regard to the state of the world, and our country in it; how we can get involved to change things for the better -- with meeting immediate needs on the other -- allowing ourselves self-care, even moments of joy and celebration.

This Week's Torah Portion Parashat Behar-Bechukotai
(Vayikra/Leviticus 25:1 - 27:34)
We are doubling up again on our Torah portions, one of the seven times we do so when there is no extra month-Jewish leap year. This week, we read of the blessings received when we faithfully follow the mtizvot, our commandments, and the curses we suffer when we disobey, we are spurred to discuss whether or how our actions impact G-d’s realm. Or, what are the natural and logical consequences of our behavior and how we treat others in our communities, and in our world.
Community Event: Pride Shabbat
Join us on June 6 at All Souls for a vibrant and welcoming Pride Shabbat Service as we celebrate the intersection of Jewish and LGBTQ+ identities. This special evening will include traditional Shabbat prayers, spirited music, and reflections that honor the beauty of diversity and the power of community. All are welcome—come as you are and experience a joyful, inclusive space.
