Rabbi's Week in Review Blog

We had a truly wonderful Shabbat celebration this past Friday night with our kids, supported by our adult members. Thanks to Erica Clinton, for planning a joyous family experience; to our featured musician, Brendan Howard; and to our music director, Lara Steinel.

Having so many of our kids present gave us so much good energy. Having our adults present sends a great message to our kids that they matter. It was a beautiful scene, with our kids learning about Jewish music while the adults just relaxed and schmoozed.

That may be the best message from last Friday night: Just being present makes such a difference in the positive energy created and in having a meaningful Jewish experience.
