Rabbi's Week in Review Blog

What a wonderful Pesach Seder Kol Ami presented for the broader Jewish community, welcoming many new faces.  This week I am leaning into gratitude for all of the amazing volunteers who give so much to Congregation Kol Ami, and beyond.  

While there were many who stepped up, and I know I will leave someone(s) out, a profuse thanks goes to Brad Ordo who gave an enormous amount of time, heart, and soul to give over one hundred participants a meaningful Passover celebration. To our musicians: Karen Engebretson, Lara Steinel and Anna Jaffe, who always give us beautiful and spiritual music.  

Miranda Klinck, Hayley Ferguson, Alan Lubert, Zora Watts, Fay Balk, Wynne Begun, Ellen Karp, Pat Clinton— thank you!!  And a special shout out to our Director of Engagement, Julia Patterson who, along with Brad, played an instrumental role in making the Seder happen.  Julia’s good work has resulted in a more active and vibrant Kol Ami with the opportunity to serve the broader Jewish community in the central city as well.

As I said at the Seder, I am the luckiest rabbi in town to be the rabbi of Congregation Kol Ami.  It's so nice to experience joy amidst the challenges of our time.
